Events:

Navnirmiti is dedicated to acquiring, developing, innovating, producing and disseminating high quality, low cost/no cost (LCNC) learning methods, tools and systems to bring about universalisation of elementary mathematics and science skills and competencies. Navnirmiti (NN) conducts a number of complementary activities to achieve the above objective.

Events & Activities:
NN center hosts and holds a number of events for the local residents of powai and IIT. Workshops in Math, Science and creative subjects, exhibition and sale of products for the residents, Annual summer camp, book festival, sky observation show, telescope making workshop are some of the events organized by the center. Math workshop on the UAM is held once a month. It is an opportunity for the schools of Mumbai to enrich their experience in math teaching and learning.

A number of resource persons associated with NN center contribute their expertise in various fields through the center activities.

Other events held on a regular basis include:

  Kahani Time: story reading in Hindi. Literatures of renowned Hindi writers  are      read out.

  Film Shows: the ‘Jatra Film club’ screens collection of selected good films across      the globe. The film shows also move around colleges and communities.
