Maths Lab

NavNirmiti has developed a comprehensive Universal Active Math (UAM) approach and a complete classroom kit to teach all primary level school mathematics through joyful methods. Our DO AND DISCOVER method for learning of mathematics is implemented in 106 schools in Maharashtra, in a classroom situation where teacher-student ratio is as high as 1 : 40 to 1 : 60.

The program implemented in each school is custom-made considering the children benefited, fee-structure, resources with the school both material & human and the requirements of the school. Our training and material charges are also based on these factors.

We are especially interested in developing long-term relations with schools, which share our learning objectives.

‘ MATH LAB’:

A Math Lab is a space designed for students to learn mathematics by performing activities and hands on experience. A ‘ MATH LAB ‘ provides wide variety of materials to play with and learn the concepts. Math’s teaching and learning for primary school level (i.e for class 1 to 4) can entirely be done with activities and experiments by students. Math Lab also encourages group learning and co-operative learning among children.

Thus Math’s Lab will aim at the following:

Encourage ‘ do and discover ’ method of learning.
Remove fear of Math’s and thus complement classroom learning
Universalize Primary school Maths competencies.
