Elementary mathematics and science education by alternative comprehensive Universal Active Math (UAM) methods

We have developed a comprehensive Universal Active Math (UAM) approach and a complete classroom kit to teach all primary level school mathematics through joyful methods.

Since 1998 our methods and kits are being used on an experimental basis in municipal and private schools in Mumbai, tribal schools, rural zilla parishad schools, special schools for child labour in different parts of Maharashtra.

The Navnirmiti Maths kit is also being introduced in schools in South Africa, as it has been found to be very useful and effective for teaching first generation learners. The kit contains innovations like the mathemat, jodo cubes and jodo invented and developed by the NN team. We are confident that universalisation of primary level mathematics skills is possible with our comprehensive Universal Active Math (UAM) approach
